Irene Abiva

Irene is a Senior Digital Analyst on the Digital Analytics team at Nordstrom, an American upscale fashion retailer.  Prior to Nordstrom, she worked extensively on the Data & Analytics team at Blue Nile, with 10 years of experience in data warehouse design, data modeling, database programming and development, and ETL architecture providing metrics and insights to business decision making while also working with reporting technologies in the online retail environment.  Before gaining expertise in Data Warehousing and becoming well-versed in all things related to relational databases, Irene was a Senior Programmer Analyst at Airborne Express and Wells Fargo Bank, where she thrived on technical problem solving and software/systems development life cycle.  While away from work, Irene enjoys creative endeavors such as song writing, playing guitar with friends, cooking, sewing frogs, knitting hats and making jewelry.
