Donald Foss

Donald Foss is a recognized leader in the Dev/Ops and Performance Management space, with over 15 years of Operations management experience and over 10 years of Performance Consulting management experience. He is a frequent speaker and has spoken at many conferences such as Cloud Connect, Velocity, Networld/Interop, GIPC, CMG and others. As Director of Operations and Dev/Ops at Velogic, a start-up company acquired by Keynote Systems Inc. in 2000, Donald designed the load testing cluster management system, scaling to thousands of nodes and generating over a Terabit of traffic in geographically distributed load tests. At Keynote, Donald was the Global Director of Performance Consulting services, managing the business unit and the consulting teams responsible for performing load-testing and performance tuning work for companies with heavily trafficked Web sites. Donald has worked with customers globally and managed staff on three continents. Earlier in his career, Donald was a Senior Network Engineer at Wyeth Labs, supporting a multitude of server and networking platforms, and a Senior Systems Analyst with Allergan. Donald wrote serial drivers for early versions of the Linux kernel, holds the RHCE certification, and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Phoenix
