Amit Shah

Amit Shah has more than 15 years of experience in the ecommerce space.  As a venture capitalist early in his career, he invested in successful ecommerce ventures such as petstore.com.  He also served as global head of sales for leading ecommerce platform provider Magento, which went on to be acquired by eBay.  Following that was part of the founding team at OpenX, a leading adtech platform. 

Shah founded his current company, Jirafe, with the belief that merchants with an online channel needed insight into their businesses in a way that drove action.  He set out to create an ecommerce solution that was easy-to-use out of the box, and provided insights and data without programmatic intervention.  Jirafe is now used by more than 50,000 merchants - including Bliss, Nasty Gal, and GE Healthcare. Emerging brands such as Boll and Branch, Diamond Candles, Deborah Lippmann, and Bohemian Guitars also leverage Jirafe to help their brands grow.
